What Is Falcon Coat?

Falcon Coat is a very hard, durable, thermally cured polymer finish. Falcon Coat is a very nice looking finish and its major benefits are its durablility and rust proofing ability. To sum it up, Falcon Coat has everything the gun owner wants: looks, durability and rust proofing protection.

Falcon Coat can be applied to aluminum, stainless steel, brass and almost any metal. A coating thickness of .0005 is applied to close tolerance parts and .001 is applied to outside surfaces. It has great lubricating qualities for both bolt action and semi-automatic weapons.

Falcon Coat Extreme Service
Our standard formula provides a fantastic, durable finish for the majority of firearms. However, for those who demand the utmost hardness and durability, you can't beat our Falcon Coat Extreme. It has all the benefits of the Falcon Coat: corrosion resistance, chemical resistance and self lubrication properties, plus a superior hardness and abrasion resistance. Most Falcon Extreme colors rate from 7H to 8H hardness and are rated from 1500 to 2500, 5% salt spray. We achieve these hardnesses from the addition of ceramic properties of our unique coating formula while using a thin application for holding close tolerances for parts and actions. An ideal choice for extreme sportsmen.

Parkerized
In our Parkerized finishes we use a manganese compound. Our special blend usually results in dull dark gray to a flat black tone. Colors vary depending on metal alloys. Parkerizing is a very cost effective means of putting on a very durable, low maintenance finish with excellent ability to hold lubricants and rust preventatives, and it is a very appealing finish, as well.
